Any business is only as good as its’ people, regardless of how wonderful the product might be. At Erickson’s we are truly fortunate to have a great team of capable and knowledgeable people who want to do their best for you.

Jean LeBaron, Retail Manager

Jean is a local artist with an amazing knowledge of all types of art materials. Combining many years as an artist and extensive retail experience, Jeannie is our “color queen.” She has an uncanny ability to select just the right mat colors and frames to make your piece truly exceptional.

Fred Spector, Framer

Fred is a career framer. With over thirty-five years of framing experience and close to twenty-five of those at Ericksons’s, Fred has done just about every type of framing job imaginable. Fred is a great seeker of new information and stays informed about new materials and methods in the framing industry. Fred has that "special touch" with frames and has done quite a bit of old frame restoration.

Dave Masarek, Owner

As a "jack of all trades" owner and manager, Dave oversees the entire operation. This includes working with customers, selecting and ordering supplies, finishing frames, cutting mats and doing paperwork! An accountant by trade, Dave enjoys the challenges of running a small business in a very niche area.

Where are all the Art and Drafting supplies ?

Well-known as "Erickson's Custom Framing and Art Supplies", our business has been serving the Toms River area since 1955. Until recently we provided Ocean Country artists, students and local businesses with a wide-range of fine art, drafting and airbrush tools and supplies. We were pretty much the last of the small businesses in Ocean County offering these products along with special orders, expert assistance and even equipment repairs. Alas, we regret that internet stores and the large, deeply discounted "craft" stores have resulted in a consistent financial loss to us. Since we can't claim to be a charitable operation, we are discontinuing all in-store sales of these products.

We will continue to focus on providing our outstanding picture framing service with our well-known design capability, high-quality professional results and the best materials available.

And, we are using the space once reserved for all that art and drafting inventory to showcase our local artists in a new gallery venue! Stay tuned for up-coming art events!
